Biography

 

 

 

Steve Rosenzweig received his Bachelors Degree from San Diego State University in 1963.  From 1963 to 1970, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force where he remained as a Reserve Officer until his retirement in July, 1990.

  

Steve began his insurance and estate planning career in 1970.  He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1977, and was a member of the first class to receive a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1982, both through the American College.  He also received his Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation in 1993.

  

Noted for his extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of estate planning, retirement planning, charitable giving and executive and employee fringe benefits, Steve has instructed courses in Business Insurance, Employee Benefit Planning and Estate Planning for the Life Underwriter Training Council and National Association of Life Underwriters.  For the past 10 years, Steve has conducted various estate* and retirement planning seminars including CPE seminars for CPAs.

  

He is a past president of both the Washington D.C. Estate Planning Council and of the D.C. Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.  Steve served for several years on the Life Underwriter Training Council Contents & Techniques Committee, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Washington D.C. Estate Planning Council and the Suburban Maryland Estate Planning Council.

  

His professional memberships include the Society of Financial Service Professionals, The Washington D.C. Estate Planning Council,  The National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.     He is a Qualifying and Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
